TURNING THE ART OF REJECTION INTO ART...

I AM

I'm a concerned and a thoughtful girl

I wonder if everybody is justly in jail

I hear the little girl screaming as her dad is taken away

I see her mother and older sister crying, saying that it's just not fair

I want to step forward and tell them that he's innocent

I'm a concern and a thoughtful girl

I pretend I'm living in a world, which no one is mistreated

I feel good because I know that race and color are not what is needed

I touch the red roses and feel warm in the heart

I worry if these roses will be killed in a drought

I cry because it's hard to make everything right, in this world, in this life

I'm a concerned and a thoughtful girl

I understand that it takes a lot to change the world and opinions within it.

I say let's work together and maybe we can one day finally see it

I dream of a world that is filled with peace and joy

I try to think of nothing but that as my highest goal

I hope one day, I can finally achieve this golden goal because I know that with working hard everything is possible, even the toughest role!

I'm a concerned and a thoughtful girl
