EVENT DESCRIPTION:

There's an obstacle found along the road to success and it's called "The Universal Rejection Truth." Identifying it, understanding it, and training to overcome this unavoidable and largely unspoken truth is the key to unlocking personal passion and leading with a deeper sense of awareness.

The Leading Through Adversity workshop engaged participants and empower them to set goals and plan real-life risk-taking research as part of an experiential component focusing on personal and interpersonal leadership. When the workshop ends, each student begins his or her personal risk-taking journey.

Attendees will leave with tools enabling them to recognize and overcome obstacles and help others on campus turn everyday adversity into a springboard to future success. They will gain a deeper appreciation of the "how" and "why" behind community building. The subject matter addresses universal themes that touch the lives of ALL student leaders and professionals.

Attendees participating in the workshop will receive the Leading Through Adversity workbook.
