Harlan,
I cheated on my boyfriend. I didn't sleep with the guy. We were
just talking and sending naughty pictures to each other. My boyfriend
found out. He hates me now. He is so mad at me. I understand that
he is right. But the thing is, I don't want to lose him. He is
the most important person in my life. I don't know what to do
so he will forgive me. Help me. I am so lost.

be thankful he's not just taking you back and letting you think
that you can cheat and get away with it. By not taking you back,
he'll help you avoid doing this to anyone else in the future.
In addition, he'll give you time to figure out why you did this
to someone you love. What you'll figure out is that you just wanted
attention - you wanted to feel desired and attractive. We all
want it, but when you're in a relationship, you can't do this.
The next time you have this feeling, instead of sending naughty
pics, you can talk to your boyfriend and get the attention from
him. All you can do is talk to him, apologize and explain this
to him. Whatever happens, be thankful for what you shared and
for what you learned.
